aManda Greene, was an educator, artist, and social entrepreneur with a BA in Humanities and a MBA in sustainable enterprise by Dominican University.
Raised in both the United States and Brazil with Melitta as her mother, she grew up exposed to different cultures, which gave her a deep appreciation and curiosity for other people’s way of living.
Over the past fifteen years, aManda has engaged in various youth development projects, including a community-based environmental circus in Bahia, co-leading a group to a permaculture project in India, an elementary school garden program in Oakland, California; and an after-school arts program in New Mexico.
aManda lived in Oakland for the last ten years, where she was the co-founder and co-director of the “Youth Impact Hub”, an organization that develops the leadership and entrepreneurship of low-income youth by providing them with innovative training, collaborative co-working space, and access to networks.
